MONTANA TROPHY ELK

6 Day Bowhunt 2 on 1 $6,500

6 Day Bowhunt 1 on 1 $7,500

March 15th Draw Deadline

Montana trophy archery Elk hunting with this unique operation in south west Montana is truly incredible. While there are several factors that drew us to this outfitter one really important one is the area. Unit 380 is Montana’s premier permit unit and is the hardest elk draw in the state of Montana. Directly across the road is a general unit (370) where they conduct their general tag hunts. This gives our clients the unique opportunity to bowhunt BIG BULLS coming out of 380 and into 370. This is a legitimate hunt for bulls in the 300” - 350” range without having to deal with a complicated draw and points for several years.

The outfitter and his team have grownup and lived in this part of Montana their whole lives and because of that they have great relationships with the local ranchers in these units. This has lead them to secure the best private land hunting available in both unit’s 370 and 380. Having the exclusive on 8 different ranches totaling over 50,000 acres of ELK HUNTING HEAVEN between the two units. Another huge bonus is that they are hunting RESIDENT ELK HERDS so our clients are NOT dependent on Elk migrating into the area if conditions aren’t perfect. These Elk are always there and this region of Montana has the highest Elk density in the state. Now you are starting to see why we are so excited about this hunt right. As always we focus on the background of any outfitter we partner with and this companies is excellent as they are bowhunters themselves and enjoy guiding bowhunters for not just the Elk but also Deer and Antelope. These folks really get it done which is evident by their track record in 2019 for their bowhunting clients. In 2019, 8 archery hunters were guided and 3 successfully harvested bulls. All bulls were over 300” and ranged from 300” -350”. One additional bull was hit and survived. 100 percent of clients drew back on bulls within 40 yards in archery season. Friends…we have been in this business for a very long time and a track record like that with opportunity on 300”+ bulls doesn’t happen very many places. This is among the very best Montana has to offer I assure you.

The general unit consists of a big valley with scattered alfalfa and hay fields and beautiful elk country. The flats mixed with cuts gradually turn to mountains and meadows with thick timber and scattered open meadows. You will find springs and creeks flowing through the bottoms. The valley floor sits at 4600 ft and climbs to an average of 6800 ft.

Bulls in unit 380 tend to find sanctuary on private ground throughout the season. The unit is now open to cow elk hunters and spikes on a general tag and there is a fairly large amount of pressure on public lands. The ranches they lease are a safe haven in the rut for the bulls and tend to congregate early in the season. They lease private land in some of there sanctuary zones where late season hunts are effective as well. If you can draw the permit required for 380 then you are going on a 350” - 380”+ archery Elk hunt. The draw deadline to apply for Montana is March 15th!

You will stay in a first class lodge and enjoy hearty home cooked meals as you chase the big bulls of south west Montana. Most of the ground can be accessed by 4x4 and a good amount of hiking. Put yourself in the best physical shape you can to really maximize your chance for success on this hunt. Hunters can add deer or antelope for an additional fee.

When it comes to a QUALITY ARCHERY ELK HUNT Montana should be seriously considered and this outfit is top notch. Spots are very limited as repeat booking is high so if you are serious about wanting a spot we suggest you contact us soon to get you in on this fantastic archery Elk hunt. We hope to see you in the woods in beautiful south west Montana. The bulls will be bugling and we will see ya there. Let’s go hunting friends!
